To keep your boiler working safely and efficiently at all times, and to reduce the risk of breakdowns, gas boiler manufacturers recommend your boiler is serviced every year.

In some cases, it is a requirement of your boilers warranty that you have proof the boiler has been serviced annually.

An annual boiler service is like an M.O.T. for your boiler. It ensures the boiler is working efficiently and safely. It is a very small investment that can prolong the life of your boiler. Boiler servicing will also enable us to identify any potential small problems that may escalate into a bigger problems if left unattended!

As part of our annual boiler servicing, Baxter Heating will do the following:

• Gas pressure check to ensure the boiler is operating at the correct gas pressure
• A flue test to ensure there are no unsafe emissions from your boiler
• Inspect your boiler and controls to make sure they are operating safely
• Visually inspect the boiler to check for corrosion and leaks
• Carbon Monoxide check
• For older boilers we also offer a Platinum Service which includes all of the above but also involves stripping down your boiler, removing all the parts and cleaning them out with specialists equipment, re-lubricating components that require it.
